GIDA Journal Vol. III explores the cultural landscape of Southern Africa through the works and words of thirty-two contributors from across the region.

In our newest issue, we sit down with Zimbabwean sculptor Terrence Musekiwa to discuss storytelling and materiality; feature a collaborative visual essay on archives and identity in Zambia by Banji Chona and Sana Ginwalla, delve into friendship and fashion with South African designers Lukhanyo Mdingi and Wanda Lephoto; and hold space with Jabulani Dhlamini and Thembinkosi Hlatshwayo to learn about the role of mentorship, trauma and accessibility in their photography. GIDA Journal Vol. III includes Lulama Wolf, Thero Makepe, Amilton Neves, Christian Cassiel, and Hélio Bruno Buite, among others.
